Background Information: Tyler A. Jost is a graduate student researcher advised by Professor Amy Brock. He joined the Biomedical Engineering Department in 2019. Tyler previously obtained a B.S. in Engineerng and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Baylor University.
Research Focus: Tyler's research focuses on computational methods to improve treatment of triple negative breast cancer. Resistance to chemotherapy is a consistent cause of failure in breast cancer. By utilizing mechanistic modeling, transcriptomic data, and more, Tyler hopes to better understand the underlying resistance that arises after treatment.
