I started my graduate education at UT Austin in the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Fall of 2022. I am mostly interested in quantifying hypoxia through Oxygen-Enhanced(OE)-MRI. Hypoxic tumors have poorly responded to radiotherapy and have been associated with overall poor outcomes from treatment. MRI has shown to be a robust tool in acquiring noninvasive tissue analysis. OE-MRI is a burgeoning modality that can be further investigated but is also easily clinically translatable. I will be mostly working on preclinical glioblastoma models and modelling changes in hypoxia in response to radiotherapy.
