Dr. Julie DiCarlo presented on her recent work on the design of a DCE-MRI protocol that meets both the clinical and research needs in breast cancer. Her talk entitled "Analysis of Simplicial Complexes to Determine Where to Sample for Quantitative DCE-MRI", was presented at the ISMRM Workshop on Data Sampling & Image Reconstruction in January 2020. By using simplicial complexes, Dr. Carlo is able to optimize DCE-MRI time sampling to return accurate estimates of pharmacokinetic parameters.
